Check a token
Before you buy or copy a token: who bought in the launch block, what the dev holds, the top 10, linked holders, new wallets, and which holders scannor has seen before.
Typical cost: $0.03. Skill: check-token.
Ask
- Check this token. (with a contract address)
- Is $SWORDCAT bundled?
- Who holds this?
- Is this safe to buy?
What it does
- Reads the token's launch on chain and its market numbers, in parallel.
- Leads with the findings worth a second look, in plain sentences.
- Gives the numbers: the Block-0 share (wallets that bought in the launch's own block and what they still hold), what the dev bought and holds, the top 10, holders linked by a shared funder or one transaction, and new wallets.
- Adds what scannor's graph knows: holders it has seen early in other launches, and how many of those launches ran past $1M.
Tools it runs
check_token and token.
How to read it
- Assume every new token is bundled. The question is how much is still held, and by whom.
- Linked holders are one owner in practice: add their shares together.
- New wallets holding many tokens can be one person spreading supply.
- A dev who sold everything is common and says little alone. A dev holding over 5% is worth a second look.
The answer
The token in one line, the second-look findings, the numbers that matter, what the graph knows, and one line on what a buyer should know first. When one holder stands out, the answer offers to profile it.
